One of our favorite seasons is Fall here at The PCS Planners! There’s so many great things to do such as; going to pumpkin patches, haunted houses, trunk or treats, pumpkin carving, and let’s not forget HALLOWEEN! In Hawaii, it’s a little harder to feel like it’s Fall since the weather is in a constant state of beautiful, so we compiled a list of a few things you can do (family and non-family friendly) around the island this spooky season! There’s so many more events than what’s on this list, so we encourage you to go out and explore everything this island has to offer!

1. Hui Halloween Murder Mystery
October 20, 2022 @ 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Join 604 Ale House on Schofield Barracks for appetizers and a murder mystery event! Each ticket purchased will come with a role to play the night of the event. Last day to purchase tickets is October 10th so that each person has time to plan a costume and learn the background of their role. If you want to join in on the fun for the night but not have a role to play you are more than welcome to still attend, but make sure you note that when purchasing a ticket.
Costumes are encouraged but not required!

2. Mililani YMCA Trunk or Treat

3. Ko’olau Trunk or Treat

The sole mission for this Trunk or Treat event is to provide a safe, fun & creative atmosphere for local families & their children to enjoy halloween festivities. There will be a costume contest for children 12 & under with multiple categories as well as a trunk decorating contest where the top trunks will win prizes from some amazing sponsors. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event!

4. Honolulu Happy Hour Halloweekend Bar Crawl
October 22, 29, & 31, 2022 @ 4:00pm – 10:00pm
Bars in Honolulu (participating bars TBD)
Experience the streets of Honolulu turn into the largest and spookiest Halloween party! Dress up and enter their social media costume contest! There will also be live music, drink specials, and prizes!

5. Halloween Ceramic Workshop
Every Wednesday & Thursday @ 10:30am – 3:30pm
Every Friday & Saturday @ 9:30am – 3:30pm

Paint and glaze your own ceramic pumpkins and spooky friends! All supplies included! To receive your projects before Halloween, you must complete it by the following dates:

6. Aloun Farms 20th Pumpkin Festival
Every Saturday & Sunday in October starting the 15th @ 8:30am – 5:00pm

Visit Aloun Farms the last 3 weekends of October for food and craft vendors, free hayrides, keiki activities and rides, entertainment, and a farmers market.

7. Waimanalo Country Farm’s Fall Harvest Festival
Tuesdays-Sundays from October 1 – November 20th, 2022

Take a breath of fresh air in Waimanalo Country Farm’s pumpkin patch, beautiful sunflower fields, and don’t forget to stop by their country market and grub stand for some fresh picked Dakota super sweet corn, famous fresh squeezed lemonade, honey, handmade coasters, yummy cornbread and so much more! Feel free to walk around on the designated paths as well as throughout the fields are other photo op areas to snap your photos. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event.

8. Hallowbaloo Music & Arts Festival
October 29, 2022 @ 4:30pm
Chinatown Arts District Honolulu, HI
The 2022 Hallowbaloo & Craft Beer Festival is an epic celebration of music, food, art and, for the first time ever, a celebration of the exploding craft beer scene in Honolulu. Hallowbaloo is not just a festival – it’s an experience! Historic Chinatown will transform into a gathering of eclectic performance artists, street food, burlesque and unbridled Halloween frivolity.

9. Waipahu: Haunted Plantation

Visit Hawai’i’s scariest and best walkthrough haunted attraction located on a REAL haunted village! This haunted experience is not for the faint of heart. Must be 13 years or older to attend.

10. Hickam’s Haunted House

11. Spook Life Park
