As Military Spouses, we understand how difficult it can be to have a career when you’re constantly moving. It can even be challenging to find jobs because some companies know you will not be there for too long or don’t want to invest in you to grow within the company.
Work-from-home opportunities have become more popular since COVID-19. They’re also extremely beneficial for many different groups, one of which is military spouses. Who Are They?
A female, veteran, and military spouse-owned company, created by Lindsay Helm, that trains prospective employers on how to hire veterans and military spouses, the value and talent they can bring, and the resource that brings both employer and employees together.
What Do They Do?
Empower Employ connects recruiters, companies, transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses together. They also offer educational courses for companies and candidates! For companies, they help employers become more “military-savvy”. For candidates, they help you network, write your resume, prep for interviews, and so much more!
Empower Employ not only connects candidates and employers, but they also set everyone up for success!
New Feature Launching Soon!
Empower Employ is releasing a talent platform called MPower! This allows users to connect to one another directly without relying on artificial intelligence. This is a HUGE opportunity for both employers and candidates.
Essentially, as a candidate, you’ll create your profile. Your profile will consist of your bio, what you’re looking for, salary range, and a few more details. Once your account is complete, you’ll be able to connect to recruiters and employers that you might fit with!
